    A metaphor for life. Do not wait for others to build the roads for you, build your own roads. On my second playthrough and I'm realizing the importance of having the roads built as early as possible. Makes later missions so much easier. Also playing on hard which I feel should be the default mode. It forces you to use everything you have at your disposal. Going for the platinum. Keep on keeping on friends.

    Question regarding player built structures

    So I bought the game two days ago and I am having a blast playing it so far! One thing that I don't understand is how the durability and distribution of player built structures works. What hinders players from just spamming buildings everywhere and repairing them so they do not disappear? Shouldn't there be structures everywhere?

    Sorry if this question was already asked, couldn't find anything answering this.

    [Episode 9/10] Can I have all areas on Chiral Network yet?

    I'm supposed to be heading back East, but still have some locations in the Central area that are not on the Network. Should I just continue the story and come back later?

    I've been bringing stuff to the Veteran Porter after finding a lost package, but after 3 deliveries he still hasn't asked to join the network. Guessing it would be the same for the First Prepper?

    Also missing the one just south of the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City. I have no clue where or what that location is. Haven't found a package for it yet.

    I went in totally blind - haven't seen any trailers nor any info about the game besides being a Kojima game with awesome graphics. I was blown away from the start - from the polish, the actors, music, gameplay.

    From the start I understood it wasn't an usual game and I totally embraced it. I needed a change in scenery. The first voidout scene left me agog, to cite Heartman.

    The "multiplayer" side of it was new to me and totally awesome - with focus on helping and less trolling, made the experience of the game more pleasant and I started to hunt those likes like crazy (needed the oxytocin more than I would admit).

    I worked tirelessly for that special star on my pants and after to get all the achievements. Is the only game on Steam I got 100%!

    The only thing that I missed is the day-night cycle and I really hope they could add it in a latter update - would love to wonder at night to see all those places shrouded in dark.

    Now is time for a replay!

    So i ended up killing a guy because i switched to to the wrong gun and i just left the body there, because i was under the assumption that it would just make more BTs. So very many hours of gameplay later, i got told that i had to get the body before it voids out and its marked on the map. So then i look and theres not a marker to be found, im not sure where i killed the mule either. So i keep playing for a while, and then suddenly the screen goes white and preston garvey starts yelling at me like i havent been the only one linking up america this whole time. So i redo the save and then it shows the baby but hes all like tarred up and black. But the game doesnt say anything about this. Is there any way to find the body? I cant find it anywhere, and theres no markers for it.

    So I'm very early in the game, basically just left the first city (no, Kojima, I will not memorize the city names if you insist that all of them include "Knot"). Die Hardman told me I need to connect 2 things on the way to the next city. I got the first one connected, and then reached the 2nd one (called the Wind Farm) but there's nothing for me to do at the terminal. I like this game but the menus are just atrocious so I don't know if I'm missing an options somewhere or what. All the characters have been over-explaining everything so when I got here and no one said anything it definitely makes it seem like something's broken.

    Figured I would ask here before I spend another 20 minutes walking all the way back and wasting my shoes that I don't seem to have a means of properly replacing yet. How do I... strand... the chiral... thing?

    Hey fellow porters!

    So I'm playing the game on PC and have been loving it. Unfortunately, my computer is maxed out in certain places and not for others as it needs specific things for the work I use it for.

    That said, I've gotten the game to run smoothly, but in order for that to happen I've had to turn off the online function. I think the world gets too populated and it starts to mess up the framerate to a level that makes the game unplayable.

    What I've been doing is just hopping online so I can receive the perks/likes and also so the items I build will be available to others. Then I just save, quit, and restart offline.

    Is there going to be a major downside to me doing this? I just started chapter 4 so if there's a spoiler just tell me that I need it for something.
