    I am a naturally lazy person and death stranding has taught me something that helping people and kindness is one of the best things in the world and it's inspired me to begin writing a script that I have been meaning too for a long time. This game has had such a large impact on my life so thank you kojima, everyone at kojima productions and most importantly thank you death stranding.

    Just had what I think will be my defining memorable moment in this game [Episode 6 spoilers]

    First time playing this game and I'm really enjoying it. Death Stranding has managed to keep me up and delivering packages at late hours that I have not seen since discovering Civilization 5.

    I recently made it to Episode 6, so I'm BB-less and on my way to climb the snow behind Mountain Knot in order to reach the Roboticist. As I climb the slopes the skies darken and Sam's hood engages which tells me I'm entering Timefall and there's going to BTs a bit further up. Knowing that Deadman isn't going to give me BB back until I've connected some Preppers, I have no other alternative but to push on without the dynamic BB and Odradek duo to steer me.

    Sam's uttering of BT related voice lines is my first indication that I am now in danger and need to be careful and observant. I hug the mountain walls on the slopes hoping that BTs would prefer to stand in the middle of the road rather than the edges. Step by step I'm carefully getting closer to the Roboticist, but the tension is building and the sounds of BTs are getting louder. I must be getting quite close to them. A sudden change for the darker in the ambient track warns me that a BT has been alerted in some way, so I quickly hold my breath and crouch walk in what I hope is the opposite direction.

    I'm almost at the peak of a slope when suddenly the prompt to cut the cord flashes on my screen and I both gasp and smash that button like it's the most important QTE in video game history. Sam whips out the cuff link and in one quick swipe sends the BT that was just a mere foot in front of me back to the Beach. With a sigh of relief I resume my climb only for the clouds to pass and the Timefall to end, leaving me to make the last leg to the Roboticist in peace. It was if the game was rewarding me for facing the BTs down while blind and still managing to avoid them with some careful walking and quick reactions.

    So I bought, played, and LOVED DS back when it was released on ps4. After the recent steam sale I'm the proud owner of the PC version.

    That being said, I started this new play through on very hard.

    Folks, if you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and try it.

    I found normal very easy, I never used container spray that I remember because it was never needed.

    All things are now being needed, I have to actually plan, think, organize, then pray it all goes well.

    And I love this game even more now that I did before and that's saying something.

    So do yourself a favor, bump up that difficulty!!

    Like many others I bought the game from the Steam sale. I'm (I think) most of the way through Chapter 3 and loving every minute so far. My question is, was the state of the infrastructure and the world much different closer to launch? It seems fine, with a good amount and mix of stuff laying around. But have I lost out on anything cool by waiting all this time?

    Recommendations for music similar to the uptempo parts of the Death Stranding soundtrack?

    I've been absolutely hooked on listening to the uptempo DS tracks like Demens, Decentralized by Nature, Flower of Fingers, Claws of the Dead etc... Any recommendations on other music that captures these same types of sci fi / horror / cinematic vibes? Thanks!
