Hi everyone! Antonela here from 505 Games, working on DEATH STRANDING PC. To showcase the epic landscapes seen throughout Hideo Kojima's DEATH STRANDING, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS has invited 2018 Landscape Photographer of the Year winner and avid gamer, Pete Rowbottom, to embark on a journey to explore and experiment with the game's unique Photo Mode features before seeking out similar hostile, but beautiful landscape scenes to capture in real life.

KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS has created a short documentary which follows Pete on his journey as he explores the landscapes in the game, discovers Photo Mode's wide array of features and provides his top tips to gamers on how to improve their own virtual landscape photos. We also hear why Pete selects a series of scenes for his shots, detailing why they mirror those environments found in DEATH STRANDING.

To view the full 7 minute documentary that follows Pete's journey, click the link below! Enjoy...

Crazy how it sounds, but Death Stranding really made me more empathetic to deliverymen

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 06:18 PM PDT

It's weird to realize this, but this game is so into my mind and affected it somehow.

Today I had my regular grocery delivery since I am immunocompromised and prefer staying at home during this pandemic. Every time the delivery people come and drop their package at my doorstep and we call it even, but today due to the massive road construction he couldn't reach my place by car and decided to walk to me with this huge pile of cardboard boxes in both his hands and on his back. It reminded me of situations when I drive Bridges truck, can't reach the terminal, have to dismount and carry all packages in my hands to finish delivery!
I felt that so much! Honestly, this game made me tip every delivery person and always thank them twice, I almost wanted to tell him I understand how difficult it is, but then realized it might sound stupid or insincere since I obviously don't deliver.

I am really thankful this game brought my white-collared arse might be a small, but still a possibility to feel for different people and learn to appreciate them even more.

Just a 3D printed diorama that I made months ago, right after finishing the game.

This happened a while back but the visionary himself,Hideo Kojima, retweeted my picture when I finished my second row of stars. I should have waited until I was deeper into my third! It meant so much for him to retweet my accomplishment.

    [SPOILER] Question about Bridget

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 07:43 PM PDT

Why is she so adament about Cliff being killed by John? Its not like he was posing a threat anymore, also I felt like john blamed himself too much considering Bridget pulled the trigger.

If you have VR, playing DS in 3D with VorpX is amazing.

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 05:07 PM PDT

It adds so much depth to be able to see the terrain in 3D just like real life. Highly recommended.
