Posted: 22 Dec 2020 12:27 PM PST To call this game a walking simulator only shows u are salty you couldnt actually play the game for whatever reason. First of all the walking mechanics themselves with weight distribution make for an interesting challenge in itself. Maneuvering terrain. Youre admiring the graphics, the world, the animations, the little norman reedus isms. Then before you know it youre thrown into a stealth horror game. Maneuvering bts. If they catch you. Epic fucking mind blowing sequence that launches you into a mini boss. U make your way through the deep thoughtful sci fi mind bending story and ur just immersed from start to finish. Admiring mads mikkelsons acting through the lil snippets and flashbacks. How cool and mysterious fragile is. Trippy deadman. Badass looking hardman. And even heartmans emotional story. All of a sudden your riding a motorbike through fields and get off to pull out your blood shooting machine gun and now youre in a sci fi shooter. All the gadgets meant for carrying cargo and ease your journey. The diff terrains. The journey. The epic bt bosses and their jaw dropping art and animations and graphics Not only is this game a 'walking sim'. Its a stealth game. An adventure game. A shooter. A game for exploration. Crafting. Building. A horror game. Sci fi game. Open world sandbox. Story game. But most of all its a work of Art. No other game even comes close in terms of just raw art for arts sake. This is way more than a walking sim.. way more than just a game even. Its a masterpiece of art and story telling And kojima did it again... look at america during trump... how divided it was.. he predicted that shit. How does he keep doing that? Hes so ahead of his time. Dont even get me started on how we literally needed porters while we all isolated cuz of covid.. thats just... idk he might be a demon or a god to predict that so accurately. It pisses me off that we have genius but the internet and memes give morons an opinion and voice to spew bullshit that discredits timeless masterpieces. Its a shame really. But truth will always come out over time. And this game will be praised for a long long time [link] [comments]

Just wanted to express my awe for this game Posted: 22 Dec 2020 06:29 PM PST I only just recently picked up DS on the PS store, and man, I should have picked up sooner. I'm on a Cyberpunk 2077 hiatus right now as I await further patches, and playing DS really makes me appreciate a finished, and polished game. I'll keep this short and brief, as I could blab endlessly, but I find this game so unique. From the environments, to the lore, the mechanics and various equipment/means of transportation, openness to mission completion and many more have made me obsessed with the game. 15 hours in and I'm only up to episode 3 (been doing loads of side missions) and I am discovering more and more to this game - it's so layered. It gives me a strong desolation vibe, kind of like the Oblivion film, and the sheer scope coupled with Sam's increasingly impossible mission really make this game stand out. I should have ignored the criticisms and got this game day one - its phenomenal. I look forward to being a part of this community - and exploring every inch Kojima and his team have to offer. Merry Christmas all and happy holidays. Here's to 2021 and it's many PS exclusives that it will bring. [link] [comments]

What I think about Death Stranding Posted: 22 Dec 2020 03:49 PM PST The game is strange, the graphics are completely awesome, the controls are complex and innovative, the characters are interesting but it can be a bit boring at times, but also relaxing. [link] [comments]

Death Stranding growth potential Posted: 22 Dec 2020 07:41 AM PST Death stranding is one of those games with fantastic growth potential. The base mechanics are so solid that you could tac on content in almost any way to improve the game. More detailed premium mission, more cosmetics, potential vehicles/traversal options, map additions, combat additions etc. The list goes on. I hope we get significantly more DLC rather than a potential DS2. Even this small cyberpunk themed update has shown the potential with hacking etc. I'd love to hear any ideas people have for dlc content [link] [comments] |
