Starting my journey tomorrow: Online or Offline?

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 05:26 PM PST

Hello, I'm getting the game tomorrow and I'm can't wait to jump in. I don't know much about the game other than what the trailers have shown and what Kojima has said about the "share" online feature. While I want to enjoy the game the way it was meant to be played, I fear that perhaps the map might be too crowded with items left by other players. Is it limited to a handful of players in my region or is it global? I'm sure I'll appreciate the help but I also want to make sure I enjoy the most of the problem-solving aspect of deliveries. Could someone help me understand what I should expect on my journey a year after the release of the game? Thank you very much

Question to those who played DS in German

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 09:48 AM PST

Hey guys, I was just wondering what "Keep on Keeping on" was turned into for the German dubbed version of the game :D.

This sentence had become such a motto for me in this year and I have been watching plenty of DS streams lately, one of them being a great and German one, and I was wondering how that motto turned out.

    Thank you

7 hours in... Bought game yesterday on pc and really enjoying it!

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 03:35 PM PST

Although I have these constant stutters in my game which I'm thinking might me due to being installed on my hard drive which is nearly empty or my rx 570 with 4gb vram just isn't up to the task anymore. Really great game though!

[PC] Bad stutter issues, especially when boosting on bike/panning camera.

    1080 Ti with 7700k

Starting to really regret starving myself of this game waiting for the PC release. Silly me.

Anyone else having frametime problems? The FPS counter says 60 but the motion is exceptionally choppy.

    I have tried:

    Disabling full screen optimizations

    Using RTSS frame limiter

    Messing with In-game settings

    Messing with Nvidia control panel

[Chapter 6] No spoilers, question for the community: I am currently building a zipline network. What are some areas in your own game where you need some zip line assistance that I can possibly help with? Currently focused on trying to get a strong network going in the mountain knot city area.

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 12:44 PM PST

Weird question I know, but if you include a picture with some markers set down in areas where you need some ziplines, I can try building out in those locations and making a contract with you for higher odds that it appears in your world.

This would also be beneficial, as I can upgrade or restore some of your own ziplines. I have about 112 logged hours into the game, and have literally just been amassing hoardes and hoardes of resources, and nowhere to really invest them as I have completed my road and everything.

I currently have contracts with a bunch of random people, but it would be nice to be of a more direct help of some people in here.

    Mountain Routes.

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 04:12 AM PST

As the title implies I am working on creating and maintaining some mountain routes to and from the Weather Station to Mountain Knot City. I already have one route and will be going back to place some post boxes along the aforementioned route. It aucked so bad but it is nearly done. The post boxes will have supplies including ladders, weapons, and other items to make a walk a bit more comfortable. I will also continue working on the road leading from Mountain Knot City. Some of these routes will be crazy but some will be as easy as I can find. I'm doing this because it gives me a real sense of purpose and being, its problem solving and it makes me feel good that I can help every single person who takes my routes. Will be posting pics later as updates come in.

    Question about Fragile

I have not played the game but my question is: Do you encounter Fragile while playing the actual game or does she only appear in cutscenes? Thanks in advance.
