I actually wished I could walk SLOWER Posted: 28 Mar 2020 01:13 PM PDT I took my time picking this one up and came to accept it as a 'walking simulator with beautiful artwork' so I was expecting something very slow and monotonous yet meditative. I started playing and the first song came on and I was hooked! A few scenes later Sam started to get VERY sensitive to my pushing the controller button forward and he was keen to run. Now, I know you get more points or whatever through delivering on or under time, but I want him to walk. Slow. Very, very slow. This is my Appalacian Trail (my fatass could never really do the trail), and I'm working from home. So, I barely move the stick when I travel and deliver. I want him to walk. I was told walking would be happening. And when I went into GameStop and slammed $60 on the table I yelled "I wanna fuckin' walk". The guy called the cops. After I got my possessions back I went home and played the game. And I was walking. And it was beautiful. Until I started running. Like. WTF. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Mar 2020 03:59 PM PDT I knew very early on that I was playing something special. I can't remember the last time in a game that I was purposely slowing down beacuse I know this kind of gameplay/story/character development doesn't come around very often. Not only that but Kojima introduced me to Low Roar which I'll forever be grateful. (I'm a fan for life now and currently listening to) I don't say this often but I unfortunately completed the game last Friday and it was definitely a bitter sweet moment for me. Nice because a got an amazing ending but sad because I feel like it's kind of over and have been thinking about it since then. I remember seeing the E3 revel trailer it seems like years and years ago. Just feels like an ending of a chapter. Anyway did anyone else get these feelings? Keep on keeping on! [link] [comments]
If there was one thing you could patch out or improve upon in the game, what would it be? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 04:38 PM PDT For me, it would be how they did the story of the Junk Dealer. It came off really cringe to me and I don't know if I would just patch it out completely or drastically change the writing. What about you all? (Avoid spoilers if possible) Edit: It can be anything from game mechanics to the story, and everything in-between [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Mar 2020 09:24 PM PDT I got this bad boy, say a week after it came out, finally finished just now. (PS4 EJECT BS) IM SO FUCKING HAPPY!!!!! twist and turns like crazy, my hearts beating, im trying not to scream waking my son cause im being chased down, super stuck in the cutscenes... i mean as tiring as walking slow got sometimes, so damn worth it. Now i need to update the game. [link] [comments]
(ENDGAME):Should I do missions? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 09:06 PM PDT I'm at the part of the game where there's a huge chiral spike and everything is crazy I still wanna complete some challenges after the meeting at Lake Knot City will there be time to do missions when it's normal? What is your favorite Low Roar track? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 11:51 AM PDT They're ALL fantastic but my favorite has to be Tonight, Tonight, Tonight. Very slow to get going but oh man, once it does... Dat beat! [link] [comments]
