Posted: 27 Mar 2020 09:38 PM PDT Its interesting that most of the posts I've seen from the subreddit in the past 2 weeks are from real life images. I mean the game has been out for a while but most games during the quarantine have had an uptick in game images, not real ones. Kinda cool. [link] [comments]
Ideas for other equipment they could have added to this game. Posted: 27 Mar 2020 05:55 PM PDT I am watching my kid play Animal crossing on the switch and she was using pole vaults to cross rivers, and I immediately said to myself that those would have been useful in Death Stranding in some areas. Then it got me to think of other useful items they could have included, and possibly might include in a future DLC or sequel. So here are a few ideas. Pole Vault for crossing rivers that are too wide for ladders. Grappling hook you can fire from a gun to get a rope to go up a cliff side. (Both of which are reusable items so they would need a limited amount of uses or something.) A method of firing rope or a wire across a large canyon that you can tight rope walk across with a little mini game of taping R2 and L2 to cross. Hang glider (makes wind direction have another reason to keep an eye on it) Slingshot - collecting rocks for ammo can be a thing to add, or even coating blood on the rocks to make them an anti BT weapon when needed. This would be a super light weapon you can carry but the drawback is heavy ammo, but you can collect ammo while on the fields fighting bad guys so you wouldn't need to load up on them. Anyway those are a few ideas. I like to hear more if you got them [link] [comments]

Are there "hidden" spots where music starts playing? Posted: 27 Mar 2020 05:02 PM PDT I just got to a mountain top in the south of Timefall Farm and Asylums for the Feeling started playing. I thought it came from the structure that was built there, but the title appeared onscreen and it had the same cinematic vibe that had in the main story, where it didn't stop until I reached my destination. Have you encountered any other spot like this one? [link] [comments]

Strange bug that ended up benefiting me. Posted: 28 Mar 2020 12:18 AM PDT I had decided that since I had a truck, that I probably could take on multiple delivery request from a single location. I chose to do three different requests at once, but I miscalculated how much room I had in the truck and no matter how I rearranged my cargo, and the cargo in the truck, I realized I needed to stash three of the delivery items. So I put these items in a private locker and went to my first location to drop off the first delivery. The game auto saved and then I went on to my second location when got there I realized I forgot to go back to my private locker to get those three items that were part of my next delivery. Since I had already driven all the way to the second location, and the first location was closer to my private locker, I decided that it'll be quicker to just reload that auto save and head to my locker from there. When the game loaded and I was back at that first location I jumped in the truck but noticed that the cargo inside now included those three items that I had stashed in my private locker. I have no idea why those items suddenly appeared in my truck but I'm guessing it has to do with the fact they are items tied to a delivery I was making, and I had the other items in that delivery already in the truck. Since the game loaded from a save files I'm guessing that the game decided that the entire order was in my truck. Whatever the reason this happened, it saved me from having to drive back to my locker. I just drove to the second location again, this time with the full delivery and it was successful. On another note I also noticed that when the game loaded, my truck was a different type. I originally had a truck with Bridges on it but the truck it loaded in was one of the Mule trucks. It's possible this happened because I was driving a mule truck into the area where I picked up the orders, but I parked it further back beyond the large circle that's the entrance to your room, and then I got into a bridges truck that happen to be there already, and put the cargo into that truck instead. So I think the game decided that I was still using the Mule truck because it was the truck I had when I accepted the delivery orders, it was after I accepted them that I jumped into the bridges truck instead. Anyway that was two bugs in one, but it was a good bug to have had happen. [link] [comments]
I've never been emotionally affected by a game this much Posted: 27 Mar 2020 09:51 AM PDT Why did it have to end? The music, The story, Everything...It's so perfect and beautiful. Tearing up right now. I just felt like sharing. I love this game and I love the soundtrack and I fucking love CHVRCHES. [link] [comments]

After 100+ hours, I finally finished Death Stranding. What do I do next? Posted: 27 Mar 2020 11:44 PM PDT To be clear, I completed all 70 story missions, and a few random side quests. What is there for me to do post story completion? Any advice on how to achieve these goals? Are BT's still around? Should I go outside and take the themes and message of the game to heart? Or should I say screw it and buy animal crossing instead? You make the call! [link] [comments] |
