    Rebuilding Roads?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 08:27 PM PST

So I've been diving back into this game and remembered why I was so sad to leave it in the first place. Gorgeous scenery, happy mindless deliveries, and a crazy world only Kojima could come up with.

That being said I've been dedicating as much time as I can to rebuilding the roads whenever I have the appropriate material to do so. Are there any good tips for gathering additional material, particularly ceramics?

    Keep on keeping on, Porters.

Did you know, you can tilt the map?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 08:23 AM PST

I just learned that you can fully tilt the map with the right analog stick. Before I thought it's just a little gimmick for the DS4 touchpad, but with the right analog stick I am able to see the real heights of the terrain.
Before I was just reading into the 2D pic from above and made guesses about the heights and obstacles on my planned route.
And I learned this just after 57h of playtime. 🙃

    Finally got myself a truck

It's the best thing ever. Even though I love the simply walking around parts as well, it's fun to just load a bunch of orders into the back and take them all in one go.

Really looking forward to getting actual Bridges trucks, I've read that they have even more load capacity.

Lore question (recommended completed storyline to read)

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 09:52 AM PST

Hello Death Stranding fans! I've been reading through the game lore on wiki fandom and found many answers to my questions. But there's still one that I don't know the answer to. I thought that USA became to divide and BTs started to appear after the death stranding, caused by Amelie. But then I remebered, that people were already in shelters and cities even before the Death stranding (memeories of Cliff Unger, he was in a bridges shelter even before the death stranding, because it was caused by Amelie after his and Sam's death.) I understand that people went to beaches since always, but humanity discovered only few years back (talking about the time the game takes place in). But when did voidouts started to occur and BTs started to strand into the living world? I had an idea, that maybe it was when Amelie, the extinction entity, was born, but I'm not sure. So my question is: When did the USA lose today's look, people begun to live in the cities and shelters, timefall became a thing and chiralium appeared? Thanks for any answers!!

Edit: Just for the heads up, I know that BTs and chiralium appeared after the Death Strandning, but I would like to know when did people start to gather in cities and voidouts started to occur, that's my question. Sorry for any english mistakes and anything, and thanks for any answers and your theories!!

Why is no one building roads!

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 06:03 AM PST

I've built roads all the way from Lake knot to weather station almost. No one seems to be contributing to it or building. I keep getting likes so I am sure it's not a sync problem. Is no one building roads?

Do MULES and Terrorists drop extra materials every time we knock them out?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 01:50 PM PST

    Hello porters!

So I just found out that in VERY HARD mode MULES and Terrorists drop extra materials on top of what they're carrying when you knock them out. Some drop high-density metals and some high-density ceramics. I am curious if they drop it every time we knock them out even after they respawn?

There was this one time I knocked everyone at a MULE camp for the second time and they didn't drop extra materials. Not a single soul dropped anything extra.
