    I'm about halfway through chapter 5 and I LOVE the atmosphere of this game. I've been playing without other people's structures, but the desolation is still undercut by the trails and other artifacts from other people.

    I'm thinking about starting over in offline mode, but I've heard that dealing with the roads is too cumbersome for 1 person. Is this true? Are roads necessary to complete the deliveries?

    PS: I am aware that connecting with other people is a major theme. That part is not important to me. I play games to escape from human interaction and traversing a ruined earth works well for that.
