    Throughout the whole game, we see characters like Deadman and Heartman go through some great lengths to be able to talk about things with Sam behind Die-Hardman 's back. This helps to paint a picture of him as being illusive and omnipresent, much like how one would expect a government man to behave.

    ... but was he even trying to listen in on them? I will admit that there are a lot of emails and logs I did not read. He was certainly presented as a shady and secretive character, but in the end, I can't really think of any times where he seemed to be spying on anyone, or any times he interjected into a conversation nobody knew he was listening in on, or any moments where he presented information he clearly shouldn't have had.

    Was all of that setup to depict him as suspicious just a red herring?

    Why does Die-Hardman wear a mask?

    At some point in the game, Deadman tells us that he thinks that Die-Heartman wears a mask to cover a bad burn. But then later, we see Bridget wearing the same mask (in the flashback).

    Is the mask custodial for the Director of Bridges? Or is there some other reason for it's existence? I don't remember an actual explanation mentioned in-game.

    So I went to the Elder today to find an automated performance screen and a BT hologram in his place, then the emails that he's dead. I'm around 200 hours logged, is this a thing that happens eventually?
