    A fun story about Low Roar and Sony

    So, if you're like me, you've been listening to Low Roar almost everyday ever since the reveal trailer for Death Stranding.

    Since then, I've attended two of his concerts.

    This story comes from the concert in Brussels last year. Ryan talked a little bit about how it all came to be and how it was to have his songs featured in the game.

    However, and he seemed mildly annoyed by this, he only had one request for Sony: For them to give him two PlayStations. For his nephews. (or cousins, can't remember).

    And they never came! Who would've thought Sony wouldn't accept this simple request? Here's hoping he gets the damn PlayStations.

    I also hope you will now remember this every time you listen to his songs in game, just like I do.

    We visited Heceta Beach in Florence, Oregon and I thought you all would be interested in seeing a IRL place that is very similar to Death Stranding. What a beautiful game!

    PSA for the PC version: if you wish to play online but without a cluttered world, change the "Shared Content" options

    I'm 80 hours into my first playthrough and the game world has become so messy that it breaks immersion. After the twentieth bridge on a flat plain and the fiftieth green and purple truck by the roadside, with a healthy sprinkling of giant Tallneck holograms and KEEP ON KEEPING ON, I've had enough.

    From what I gathered from a quick search and this thread, the "Shared Content" option is new to the PC version and offers an alternative to playing offline. You can customize which signs show up and also choose to no longer receive signs, structures and vehicles at all.

    Activating this option removes all online signs and vehicles, but retains any structures that are already in your world (which you can clean up manually, I'm keeping a few convenient safehouses and ziplines). The shared cargo system, cairns and pee mushrooms still work, as do like exchanges for use of roads and footpaths.
    Your own structures also still get shared to other players' worlds and you receive likes for them. According to the linked thread, resource pooling for road construction also still works.

    Overall this is an excellent compromise and I'm playing the rest of the game like this.
