    Hello! Antonela here again, Senior Brand Community Manager at 505 Games working on DEATH STRANDING with the team at KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. DEATH STRANDING is all about establishing connections, so what better way to emphasise that message than to give you one more opportunity to speak to a member of the team!

    This week, we have someone very special joining us for our next Reddit AMA! I'm absolutely delighted to announce that Yoji Shinkawa, Art Director at KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS will be here on Friday answering your questions!

    The AMA session will be held here in this thread, from September 4th at 14:00 JST / 22:00 PDT (Sep 3) / 07:00 CEST. REPLIES WILL COME FROM u/KojiPro_

    Of course, Yoji Shinkawa won't be able to reply to you all and there will be questions he can't respond to, but he will do his very best to cover as many as possible.

    This is the first game I've bought myself in a long time and I love it. It's just so cool. I think I'm near the end I just trudged through and out of the snow and met the paleontologist. This game is great I love this game! pic

    How I knew this game left an impression on me

    So I've been working from home for some time now. I have my work laptop and my own personal laptop. I have a dock I plug into my own laptop and then unplug and plug into my work one when it's time to work.

    This whole plugging and unplugging business just reminded me of Sam connecting his BB. I only beat the game recently so it's all fresh in my mind but there was something about it recently that just felt familiar.

    Anyway terrific game. I really had no idea what to expect other than what was shown from the E3 and TGS Trailers. I somehow avoided spoilers for more than half a year. I've been watching loads of interviews and behind the scenes. I sat through an hour long Youtube video breakdown of some things about the game.

    But yeah what a journey. I usually don't dabble into these third person shooter action sneak around game. It took me a few BT encounters to figure out how to take care of them effectively. I only learned recently the grenades work outside of battle and bola guns work on some bosses.

    I heard about people ruffing up their feet by letting their boots run out. I made it through the game without getting my feet exposed to the elements. I did have a lot of times where I was a few millimetres from a charge point or a powered road and ran out of battery.

    It was great how they made the terrain and environment annoying and something you had to deal with. It's not like other games where it's just x to climb or just gallop or zoom to the other end of the map mindlessly.

    At first I didn't like how jumping doesn't allow you to bring everything with you but afterwards I appreciated how it made you have to prepare and keep track of what you have and what you'll need to prep again at your destination.

    My first playthrough was on the PS4 but I think if they did a new game plus I would probably beat it again on the PC and NG it that way.

    If this virus lets up, I'm thinking about dropping by the Kojima studios sometime in the future. I missed out on some cool shirts waiting this long to play.
